- Website Design & Development
- Inventory-Synced Menu System
Deliverables
- Site direction & design (built from the ground up)
- Website design & development
- Inventory-synced menu system
- Automated stock-to-site updates (no manual re-entry)
The problem
High Lonesome had no website and no online presence, so customers had no way to find them or see what was actually in stock. Keeping an online menu accurate by hand wasn't realistic either — any solution had to update itself, not add another manual task to the day.
The approach
Spectra designed the site's direction from the ground up, then built the menu to sync directly off the founders' existing local inventory, so updating stock is the only thing they ever have to do, the site handles the rest. Spectra also walked the founders through running the day-to-day tools themselves, so the handoff was something they could fully own, not a site they'd have to call someone about every time something needed to change.
The results
High Lonesome now runs a site that updates itself straight from inventory, with founders who run it day to day without needing to call anyone. Spectra continues to work with them today.
