Retail Packaging Design
Las Frescas Disposables
The product was strong. The packaging wasn't.
2x sales. 15+ new accounts. 85% reorder rate.
Sales volume in month one post-launch
New dispensary accounts landed in the first 60 days
Dispensary reorder rate across Q1
The problem
The product was strong, but the packaging wasn't pulling its weight. Next to more confident-looking competitors, it undersold the brand.
The approach
We rebuilt the packaging around shelf impact first. Hierarchy, color, and materials were all chosen to win the half-second decision at retail. Then we rolled it out across the full lineup: 8 core flavors, 16 SKUs once both hardware formats are counted.
The results
Sales nearly doubled in the first month after launch. Las Frescas landed 15+ new dispensary accounts in the first 60 days, and reorders held at 85% through Q1, so buyers kept coming back instead of trying it once. It now holds its own next to bigger, better-funded brands instead of getting passed over for looking unfinished.
